As this illness sweeps across the world and upends our normal life, let’s come out of this with renewed hope in our common humanity and our ability and conviction to be better as people.

Keeping up with the Jones’s is a disease that serves no one, except perhaps the retailer that makes money because we buy things we don’t need.
You are a unique person and have your own gifts and talents. Remember that and act like it.

If you suffer from excessive people-pleasing, or from a need for external approval, it is easy to get lost looking for that next pat on the back. You are much happier and better to make your mark when you choose your own lane and create the life and legacy that you think is good.
